Our NIL pool isn't as big as some of our competition. Money is the primary motivator now, with coaching a secondary consideration. We're not going to be able to keep as much talent as Georgia, Ohio State, Texas, etc. anymore. Just have to do more with less, and we've got the perfect coach to do that.

Maybe Texas or A&M but we should be able to match Georgia and Ohio St.

Yeah in this new NIL era, we just cant keep up with the Texas types that will write larger checks.
WE are not the only ones, so it is what it is

I've been saying this is going to be a problem for Alabama since NIL was introduced.
If it's pay to play, we don't have the same bankroll as Texas, Texas A&M. Probably not as much as UGA or Florida for that matter, just thinking in term of a state's wealth. Where does that put Tennessee?
We aren't going to be able to out bid texas.

And we're finding that out.
It seems we no longer get the you're getting coached by the goat discount anymore.
I thought we would be able to do a better job matching some of these raises but apparently not.

We should have beaten Texas, we did beat UGA, and OSU was not even in the playoffs.
