When you are dealing with rats like Kirby and others, you’d better be willing to get down in the sewer.
I would love to know what Saban is doing behind the scenes, if anything, to help keep the roster in tact. On the surface, it looks like nothing.

Our NIL pool isn't as big as some of our competition. Money is the primary motivator now, with coaching a secondary consideration. We're not going to be able to keep as much talent as Georgia, Ohio State, Texas, etc. anymore. Just have to do more with less, and we've got the perfect coach to do that.

Saban is in Florida. Not his job to retain these kids. A lot of our top guys, especially DBs, came to Alabama specifically to learn from Saban. With him gone, plus the money stuff, that’s going to lead to some attrition. Is what it is.

It aint Saban's job to do anything and also not Deboer's fault that players are chasing the bag

No but you fight fire with fire. Not hire a cuck who is gonna take it, and that's all he is gonna do. Put your self in a kids position. Would you want to play for DeBoer or any other coach at an elite program. The answer is not DeBoer. Stop Blaming Kirby for what he learned from Coach Saban. There was a blue print. Coach Smart just uses it.
