I don't think he's close to being a DC, but HaHa is a Director of Player Development for Bama, and I think it'd be a good idea to start to transition him to an on-field role.
Curious if we'd reach out to Austin Armstrong about the DC job if TRob falls through.
ETA: Shaun Dion Hamilton is an Assistant LB coach with the Lions. He probably needs a couple more years of coaching experience, but that's another guy I'd love to have back in some capacity on Bama's staff.

Thanks for the info. Yeah we need to start building that pipeline. Those two would be great. Maybe one day Hightower will get into it after spending so many years around the other Goat coach. But Hightower has made so much money playing, maybe not
