DeBoer is a great hire. But, in the SEC he has to make the correct defensive staff hires. We've all seen his offense is great but is nothing special when they meet a great defense.

Offense got DeBoer the job. Defense will determine if he's a success or failure at Bama.

It could be when Saban is just down the hall.. and if it worked out, we would all be fricked.. and it hurts Kirby in the process.

Recruiting wouldn’t have missed a beat though.. it would be Kirby 2.0..

And if it didn’t work in a year or two.. you aren’t replacing Saban anymore.. you are replacing a guy who couldn’t follow Saban (which is an impossible task)

Totally disagree.
Following Saban is either a home run or a disaster. If it’s a disaster, you get it done and move on.
I think it’s a great hire either way.
