We truly have gotten away from the traditional NT in the 3-4 front.
Just too much a liability in the hurry up offenses.
However our DEs are probably a bit big for traditional 4 man front and less disruptive than desirable.
Granted our nickel defense was really a 2-4 front tbh with Braswell and Turner playing the DE positions

I suspect the Alabama D this coming year will have a bit of the old Ken Donahue 4-3 Flex to it when they face a running team.
