Harsin is a good coach, but that hire was imploded from within. Boosters never wanted him and made shite up to try and run him out of town.

Worst coach in D1 football. POS could not recruit. A dozen 4 an 5 stars in Ala said they never heard from him or met him. STFU..you have no idea what you are talking about.

Was this your take with Malzahn’s HS record too?
HS is not the same as College, since ya don't legally recruit. So it's like comparing apples and potatoes.

That’s not how any of this works.
So you are saying coaches in the SEC play? How much coaching have you done in the SEC? If you haven't what makes you know more than me?

You can be an excellent coach otherwise and fail miserably in the SEC.
You "can" do lots of things. Doesn't necessarily mean you will though.

Ah yes, Bama has never done this right?
That's what you got? Don't you mouthly little fricks pretend to be smart? Apparently you're not. That's not what I said at all. ABSOLUTELY Bama did that before Saban. Saban is not leaving completely. Hopefully he will keep the donor class, that obviously knows nothing about coaching in their place.

Which of those fan bases would like Bama to succeed? Answer: NONE. Which of those fan bases know anything? Answer: NONE.

People keep making the Meyer comparison,
But Meyer wasn’t following a legend in Spurrier. He was the guy after the legend so the pressure was very different.

Now DeBoer is a great mind, but think about the players he had at UW.

Double was already there. Penix was already at Indiana when he got there as OC and he only coached him 1 of 4 years there.

Further, you aren’t going to have guys with 6 years of starting experience at QB now that the Covid free year is done. Plain and simple, while a great coach, he had a ton of things in his favor when he took over UW.

What should concern you is why Kirby needs a DB coach/recruiter from BAMA.

Actually, I am glad that DeBoer has an OC background instead of a DC background.

Kirby sells the Georgia program based on proper training that will prepare players to be successful in the NFL.

Kirby needed a new DB coach because Fran Brown just took the HC job at Syracuse.

TJ is a great recruiter that will further enhance an already great recruiting staff.
