DeBoer is going to win a lot of games at Alabama. Heck, I could probably coach them and win a lot of games..

But can he beat Kirby?

No one else could beat Georgia the last 3 years, and this was primarily due to the huge talent gap between those 2 teams and everyone else. Ohio State almost got them in 2022, but they also had a really talented roster, and CJ Stroud lit the NFL on fire this year.

Bottom line, Georgia won't be left out of a 12 team playoff anytime soon, so it's likely Alabama will have to beat Georgia to win the NC, and if he wants to keep his job, he will have to win some of those games.

Either way, I think it's a great hire for Alabama.

The guy just wins wherever he coaches. His resume is almost identical to Urban's before Florida hired him.

Lastly, all the people making fun of this hire are complete fricking idiots. Seriously, trolling is one thing, but just being fricking stupid is something else entirely..

Somebody tell Texas that they don't need to suck up to Bama just because they're in the SEC now

I was glad they didn’t get Lanning or lane.

Norvell looked better as well.

Think they got a good coach but not sure how he can handle the sec. Good isn’t good enough for Bama though.
