DeBoer can obviously coach, but this has serious Brian Harsin vibes all over it

A milktoast dull geeb dweebler that sticks out like a sore thumb culturally and has no clue how to fit in or navigate in the dirty South

yeah I really don't hate this at all. Also how much of his success is due to the geriatric Penix? The reason he's as hot of a name as he is is mainly because of the last 2 seasons having a heisman caliber QB in a somewhat weaker league (although this year it was pretty solid). How will he do with a major downgrade at the position coaching in a much tougher league?

ETA: Also how much of him being the new hot name is due to the recency bias of playing for the natty? Like let's say he splits the series with oregon this year and misses out on the playoffs...is he still the big hot name in the coaching search?
