Dan Lanning saying “I turned the job down” on live tv seems like the opposite of disinformation.

I feel like high level politics and CFB coaching searches are two areas in our culture where the absolute truth can still take years or decades to trickle out. We still debate what happened in coaching searches from a decade ago even when most of those involved are out of the situation and free to tell the unvarnished truth.

It's kinda weird.
