I was in school at AU at the time. I had a classmate who was from Pittsburg. Big Pinguins fan, but also wore a Pirates hat around campus. Rolling Toomers for a Braves win over the Pirates really rubbed him the wrong way. (What if I had rolled the hell out of Toomers in '96 and '99? I wonder how folks would have felt about that?)

Rolling Toomers is for AUBURN wins. It is something ALL Auburn people should be able to celebrate. Not all Auburn fans are also Braves fans, or Yankees fans, or Lakers fans, or for that matter, Democrats or Republicans.

That said, I am ok with Rolling for Saban retiring because, let's be honest, it is an Auburn win.
