Very unrelated, but I'm dying to know if this rumor is true...

I wouldn't believe saban getting a prostitute. But i could totally see him realizing he was being propositioned by one in Miami, and running away. Miami is probably one second to Vegas in the number of hookers.

Right, although looking it up, Perkins was 32-15-1. The strength of the program in that era was such that they could weather two pretty weak coaches back to back.

Perkins could win some big ones but always lost to mediocre teams like LSU. Curry couldn't beat Auburn and never embraced the culture. Perkins was a risky but understandable hire, Curry was an inexcusable hire.
