There are a lot of fans saying it on Facebook but not a single media source I can find that have said it. Not even the ones people claim have said it.

Got to be Lanning. Saban loves the guy based on his time at UA. Tried to hire him for Defensive Coordinator but Kirby scooped him and we had to settle for Golding. Biggest whiff of the Saban era.

Saban still burned by what Kiffin did after taking the Fla Atlantic job with a playoff upcoming. Don't think he would ever sign off on that whether he is cordial with Lane now or not.
