Lol. If Saban's replacement went 10-2, , 10-3, 11-3, and then 9-4 you would probably be screaming to fire him after this season. No way we'd accept 8-4 (who cares about bowl game results anymore) after 2 consecutive 3 loss seasons. And that's in the weak arse ACC.

The part you are missing is Dabo, like Saban, hated the NIL bull crap, and in 2020, recruiting and evaluating was a crap shoot, it had to be done from a distance. So, in 2023, it showed, there was more parity in CFB across the board.

But Dabo probably realizes now the pandoras box is open. Its probably not going to be shut. It should be. In 10 years teams like Rutgers, UCLA, Texas, where more money resides, will be ruling CFB, you mark my words. Hell even Harvard and Yale might make returns, they have billions of dollars in endowments, and very, very rich alumni.
