I am not arguing which league is better. The SEC is the premier football conference.

I'm asking why everyone says the SEC schedule is so much harder than the Big 12 Schedule.

You can only have 1 National Champion per year, so at max that would be 2 games vs them if you rematched in the SEC Championship or playoffs. A&M has no rematches.

So in theory, A&M (if they played the NC that year) could win the rest of their games and go 7-1 in conference every single year.

The schedule matters. As an example, A&M has played Georgia 1 time in the last 12 years.
