I mentioned both Bama and Missou. Claiming FSU as a great team based on the circumstances is insincere on your part. I admittedly always forget about the Ole Miss game.

Still, there are always a handful of teams that should be competitive against the top 3-4 teams and you only played 1 of those and lost. Perhaps my use of the word "decent" was as insincere as your claiming FSU as a quality win.

Georgia fans will never get over losing to Bama in 2023. I owe Saban a beer.

So your view is there were four or less teams that "count" for UGA this year.

No offense... that's stupid. Just because UGA beat #6, #8 and #9 (two of them by blowout margins) doesn't make them not count.

UGA had a poor game against bama. They missed a 34 yard field goal (not a norm for a solid FG kicker). They gave up 2 fourth down conversions, either of which had they stopped would have erased a Bama TD. One of those was a risky 4th and 4 by Bama. They were penalized more times and for more yards than bama. They had a fumble that set Bama up on the UGA 11 that ended in a FG. They objectively had a mistake filled game and they ended up losing by 3.

Using that as your ONLY metric to judge UGA and not looking ot their wins over 3 other top 10 opponents is simply you trying to make UGA look worse, not objective measure of what UGA did on the field. Yes, the performance against Bama does count, but in the end it was a mistake filled game where UGA lost by a FG.

It counts. UGA didn't deserve to make the playoff just like Bama didsn't deserve a slot last year. But that doesn't change the fact that Bama would have been favored over TCU and Michigan last season and UGA would have been favored over every playoff team (including Bama) this season.

While the results that did happen kept Bama out last season and UGA out this season, it doesn't change the that Bama was probably better than TCU last year and UGA was probably better than Michigan this year.
