Not likely. We’d have to have 5 P5 teams finish undefeated through their conference championships. Then the team ranked last out of the 5 undefeated teams would have to run the gauntlet. That’s not going to happen very often if at all.

UGA was great that year but didn’t play 1/2 as difficult a schedule as 2019 LSU. Bama technically went undefeated but did so in a year that didn’t even count towards player eligibility. I’ve had a change of heart though. I think we should all lie and acknowledge it because the respect I have for Saban, it’s just so weird him going 6 years without a championship.
