Start at 16min 30seconds Listen through 46 minute mark

Jan 3rd episode in case youre having issues, but its a direct link.

Dont post until you either understand in totality what has been said, or you at least listen twice.

Do yourself a favor and listen to the ENTIRE interview. You will come away with a much better understanding of where our program is and what is wrong.

I'm not going to provide the cliff notes, because there is way too much great information to try to pass along. Maybe a professional analyst can help explain it in a way that will reach some of you that are struggling to understand.

Seems like the guest suggests Alabama had a communication and mental issue at center and quarterback but it was exacerbated by bad decisions in prep by the coaching staff.

The coaches had been calling the plays from the sideline all season because milroe could not.

The offense however was designed for the QB to make the calls because Bryce always made them.

For some insane reason the coaches decided to change for this game because they thought UM could and would steal their sideline signals.

They asked Seth to do it because Milroe could not. Seth wasnt accustomed or capable either. He was calling protections, snapping and blocking- dude could already barely snap alone.

Plays were there, but execution obviously was not

Simply put too many problems to overcome came from the fact the QB could not make the calls, and didnt know where to go with the football

Which day? I listened to about 1 minute of the year's #1 caller and regret that lost minute in advance as something lost on my deathbed.

:crickets:

People would rather argue with one another never endingly rather than listen to a 25 minute interview where an analyst who has no skin in the game simply tells you exactly what happened this game and season.

People.

I think any of us could find a video on youtube that backs up what opinion we already had and post it.

Some of us already knew this. Others don't want to hear it. We were very limited at the QB position.

College Football Nerds do a great job.

Here's former O Lineman cole cubelik talking about why our offense struggled vs Michigan. He mentions the bad snaps, and Milroe not having time to set up in the pocket.

Also says our defense wasnt disruptive enough, mentions us only having one sack. Theres a lot of blame to go around.

You more than anyone need to listen to it.

I dont mean that as a smart arse; I truly think it will help you understand the situation better.

Its a non biased analysis by an analyst who makes his living doing this.

His analysis Has nothing to do with my opinion, and it is absolutely spot on.

QB limitations did us in - end of discussion. This program will not improve until we get better QB play, and move into a pro style direction, OR embrace what Milroe is and start running a GusBus offense. Square peg Round hole - End. of. discussion.

Thats exactly what your opinion has been the whole time.

My opinion is the O line was equally as bad as the qb play. Saban seemed think so too.

I also think Michigan has a great defense an give them a lot of credit for the issues we had on offense.

If you dont get the correct protections called youre gonna have a bad time. (South park anybody ?)

This OL has 4 dudes that are going to play on Sundays.

They asked Seth to call the protections, snap the ball, and block, and he already sucked just trying to do one of those... UA coaches got too panicked about stolen signals and took drastic measures that probably were not necessary, but if the QB could do it then they would not have been able to tee off on the QB like that.

The analysis covers a lot more than that and is very interesting. Just listen to it.

Milroe is probably going to play on Sundays too. He might even win the Heisman next year, he has the best odds to. He finished 6th this year in the Heisman voting this year. Most of the criticisms people have of him they also had of Jalen Hurts the first year he started, and Jalen Hurts was qbing in the super-bowl last season.

Milroe has a lot of room to improve and a lot of time to do it. He is only gonna be a Jr next season. His ceiling is incredibly high.

Uhhh… a lot happened with Hurts’ development between his freshman season in college and qb’ing in the Super Bowl last season..

And the criticisms of Hurts while at UA were warranted; he could not beat UGA and was ultimately benched..

He was benched because he had Tua behind him, not because he was a bad qb, and he ended up subbing in for Tua and beating Georgia in the SECC game the last year he was here.

He had a great season at Oklahoma and was the runner up for the Heisman and now is leading his team to super bowls.
