The reason why Vanderbilt isnt on the chart isn't because they are a private school and dont have to report. It's because the dollar amount is too low to register on the chart.

This graphic doesn’t tell you anything much more than you already know. Stadiums that seat more people have higher revenues. To have a better understanding of this a graphic that shows how revenue changes over time would be much better. I imagine some schools have under-performing years based on how the team is doing.

But Tenner seats over 100k and are too low imo. OU is like 7th largest SEC stadium seat wise (85k) yet double Tenn?

Someone else hit it, TV matters. However, home stadium revenue is important since TV revenue is split equally but home revenue is for schools to keep.

Same reason why the Miami Hurricanes aren't on the ACC chart. Reports confirmed by local sources, estimates the "U" brings in a $12.76 per GameDay. And 3 plantains.

Iowa State tops in the Big12? Ames Iowa? Lol

Having said that, it shows why (among other reasons) Brett Yormark was so salty about losing us and OU.

I'm in a minority of 1 here, but I see it as a good thing that Mizzou fleeces its citizens for the smallest disclosed SEC amount directly out of their pockets for attending a game.
Even taking in whatever disparity in our attendance numbers, seems we would still come out at the lowest costs/best bargain.

Or we buy the least amount of hoodies.

Notice Texas and Oklahoma are not included in the 2022–not 2024–numbers for the Big 12. Which is why I said a trend is a better indicator than a cross-section. Perhaps, more fans attended and bought stuff at Iowa State games in 2022 than the other schools.

These numbers don’t even seem remotely credible

So you are saying public universities are all lying about their dollars? And risking IRS problems by doing so? Even though they publish the information to be seen?

You should go to the link and read up on it. Its not fake info, you just don’t like the info is all.
