Having been in business all my life and an owner and decision-maker in this latter part of it, if we were set to lose talent we would evaluate our needs on an unemotional as possible basis and act accordingly. Dude wanted to coach for LSU, he got a few extra bucks, his wife is happy, this kinda shite happens every year, it's part of big time college football.
