The real promised land is the friends we meet along the way.
I had a blast getting lit (I didn’t realize they don’t care if you bring in your own alcohol) with 10 friends in the 300 section this year for the Florida game with all the free hotdogs you can eat. And a fourth and forever conversion to keep a great season alive.
I won’t forget watching Henry Josey break through the line against A&M to seal the win that sent us to Atlanta in our second year in the league. That’s the last game my pops was able to physically attend with me. Mobility isn’t as good for him anymore.
Just enjoy the ride. It’s plenty of fun if you do it right.

Good advice!
After the Cotton Bowl I saw on my son’s Twitter feed a picture of us at the game with a caption expressing how good it was to enjoy it with me.
Believe me, I screen shotted the post!
