Lastly, I will be the first to say that I think Saban asks Rees to look for a new job.
Just watch all his interviews after the game and the McAfee show. He is trying to graciously point out the fact he feels the OC screwed us big. We weren't prepared to run multiple plays, we didn't run like we should have and we didn't run enough plays to highlight our strengths and use our talent outside of QB.
Saban has to know it's his fault for believe Rees that we could gap block in short situations when we struggled with that all game.

Probably hard to recruit a top OC like the one at Washington when the locker room gets to pick the QB

Absolutely. But, when all is said and done, that's on Nick. Get on the headset and say, "Tommy, we're running the fricking ball this series."
