We rarely ever use pre snap motion

I felt it was used a fair amount in the Michigan game. But that won't matter if your center can't snap the ball properly. It also won't offset your OL being pushed around or whiffing on blocks.

That loss was a complete display of all the flaws in this team's offense. You can't have those issues this late in the year AND have a 1st year starting QB that is a limited passer. Most of the throws I saw were safe and to the outside or 50/50 deep balls. Imagine trying to call a game that protects your QB from taking too many risks only to see snaps sent back below his knees or to his side. Rees may be terrible, time will tell. But I sure as hell don't envy him for what he dealt with this season.

Time has already told with Rees. He has never had a good offense since he’s been a coordinator. Think about this how many times has he created a mismatch with a receiver on a linebacker? How many times has he come out of the huddle with the running back split wide only to motion him back into the backfield to let us know whether the defense is in man or zone? When was the last time you saw us run a rub route? A slip screen to the running back? Don’t give me this crap about milroe can’t throw intermediate because I can point back to several throws this year where he made beautiful 10-20 yard passes. As an OC it’s about scheming and finding mismatches. He’s a big ten guy and scoring 40 points per game isn’t something he’s ever seen as a player or coach. He never was a fit here and next season will go like this if he’s retained.
