A&M finished 4th in AP. Texas will probably finish 4th this year. Shrug. A&M at least got a major bowl win out of it.

One team played in the CFP. The other played UNC (basketball school). It’s not hard.

A&M played a ACC third place North Carolina whose entire receiving corps opted out.
