Was anyone else at the 2014 arky game? Jeremy Johnson looked like a heisman candidate in the first half (Marshall suspended for some green)

I wasn’t at the game but saw it. Johnson came out throwing the ball all over the place after I’m sure they prepped all off season for a zone read attack.

However have to admit I was excited with his performance.

If this is in regards to Hank’s performance then yes it’s sorta comparable but not completely because Hank ran the same offense that the other QBs had run this game. I’m not putting much into 2 drives in a blowout but he looked good for first time on the field. There are also tons of 3 star QBs in the NFL. QB and OL are the hardest to evaluate coming out of high school. So rankings matter but for those 2 positions a lot can factor in how they perform once on a college roster

I was there and if I remember well, that was the game with the storm before the game. Or maybe a different year. I know it was a Arkansas game. I know that was one of the scariest clouds Ive ever seen.

I was a Marshall guy from day one. I had watched his high school career in Georgia. I just had a feeling he would be awesome and he was

I was pissed at him over the weed thing. It was just something he couldnt do with the position he was holding. Just the old man in me even though I partake from time to time. LOL

After Jeremy got going, I was like, just let Nick sit the entire game. He deserves a full game and let Johnson put some pressure on him.

I mean, I was a dumbass and all but he was throwing darts around like crazy.

Then the net year, he became the real Jeremy Johnson and Nick was gone.
