And it appears Bateman was doing a shitty job recruiting him. Lucky Napier came in and saved his commitment.

Thecaw could have gotten Myles to commit . He is poised off that Napier and the staff did not let him know about Batman so either Napier did not know or lied to him

What is going on at Florida? That sounds like a mess on the level of interference at A&M and Texas. I know Bateman was a great DC at Army, but things have gone downhill since then. I'm hoping him paired with Elko can bring good things again. They've known each other a long time

Armstrong was hired by Saban for an assistant coaching role in Tuscaloosa but accepted the Florida DC spot before he ever showed up in Tuscaloosa.
