Out of all the people on Twitter, Mullen is the last person I would expect to be the most like Kiffin

I’ve actually enjoyed Mullen post-coaching. His commentary during games has been good and he’s started trolling more on Twitter.

Mullen is about the lowest character person imaginable. Guy is a douchebag and an asshat, and super lazy. It's hard to think of another coach that has gotten more credit without deserving any of it, than Dan Mullen.

Also...You can't compare recruiting numbers pre and post NIL. Mullen recruited on UF's cache. School cache counts for very little now.

Mullen is the last person that needs to troll on twitter. He embarrassed UF every week of the 2020 season and completely fell apart from that time onward. His commentary sucks, no one has wanted to hire him, and the NFL laughed at him.

Got UF on probation, got a show cause order from the NCAA. He was at the end of his contract and his buyout was close to zero - but his buddy, Stricklin, gave him an extension and a huge, unmitigated buyout, and Mullen proceeded to mail it in from that point forward, knowing he was going to get $12M no matter what he did. He should have been let go at UF with zero buyout and laughed out of the coaching ranks. Stricklin cost UF tens of millions with that Mullen situation. Firing him before the new contract would have meant no buyout and getting a new staff relatively cheap. Waiting as he did cost UF another year of Mullen's inflated salary, plus the buyout, plus that year was full of coaching moves that drove up the salaries.

Urban Meyer made Dan Mullen. Guy has sucked as a coach and continually got lucky. Mullen is the dipshit that wanted to keep Tebow and Harvin on the bench. His personality was so awful, that if not for Meyer, Tebow was headed to Bama to play for Shula. Urban Meyer was the hottest name in coaching and Tebow had family ties to UF, yet he was ready to go to Bama because of Mullen's awful personality. He didn't want to play Dak but had to because the starter got injured. He did everything he could to keep Trask off the field. The man is incompetent. In his entire coaching career, in the regular season he has never beaten a ranked team when his team was ranked higher. That spans more than a decade. No one has ever done less with more like Dan Mullen.

When you account for inflation, Mullen's salary at UF was about 225% of Spurrier's peak salary while at UF. Dan Mullen is why people think there is no justice in the world. Lazy, incompetent douchebag and yet...a millionaire.

Mullen was a good play caller, not a good coach.

Times have changed since Mullen was at the helm.
