What a convincing argument completely ignoring the portal and NIL and the eventual leveling of the field they will bring over time. And Saban the brand name still draws a lot of recruits. He won't be there much longer.

Common mistake of thinking NIL is the only thing recruits are looking for. The really intelligent ones don't go for bags that will be spent on stupid shite within a few months...they're looking to set themselves up for the rest of their life.
I mean sure some random billionaire could try to shake things up by attaching themselves to some team nobody expects like Iowa State, Rutgers or something like that and bring in some players of the caliber they've never had before, but that would be a one season flash in the pan type thing and it may not even work out like most people expect it would.
