I'm not going to say bad things about the guy, but I WAS looking for the double teams during the SEC Championship. Never saw them.
I did see where UF decided to just let him run free to Tebow. Talk about the ultimate way to block Cody. Just let him try to tackle the QB. He'll get tired halfway there.

Cody was utterly a difference maker for Bama this year.
Not necessarily in the UF game because their offense makes DTs much less useful but having to commit a double team to him in most games made a huge difference for Bama.

cody is big but he is overrated as a DT. he's not as good as these stupid bama homers are making him to be.

Cody is a great player. Maybe he does not "look" good, but he is very effective. A NT is NOT supposed to make a lot of tackles, but rather free up the LBs to NOT take on blockers and run free.

I just hope he can lose 20-30 pounds in the off-season like the coaches want him to. He'll be a beast

I think he will be back next year. I just cannot see him going that high in the draft. No offense bammers, but I honestly think he was the most overhyped player in the league this year. He barely played more than half the plays (maybe 2/3), didn't make many tackles, and you can forget about him getting close to a qb on 95% of passing plays. He may have played his roll relatively well to just park his fat arse in front of the center, but I just didn't see any dominant force worthy of accolades or a high NFL pick.

I personally don't care what kind of accolades he gets. So long as we are in double digit wins with him as a starter again.

He's not supposed to make plays. Losing a few, he would start on most NFL teams, especially one that lacked lb play.
