donghorns come begging to play daddy A&M because they realize A&M made the smart move and donghorn is just slipping further and further into irrelevancy. A&M does not see any upside to playing donghorn plus they are already scheduled out for the next 5 years anyway

What would have been the upside for A&M xwing? What would we have gained by beating a mid level Big 12 team? Which of team that we already had scheduled should we have dumped?
As I recall A&M told CDC “not at this time” kind of like Deloss Dodds told A&M back in 2011.
