Sugar coat it however you want, but Milroe was a liability in the Texas game.
Not sugar-coating anything, just stating an opposing point of view.

His two ints were bad throws and directly led to 10 points - not disputing that. My point is that IMO, things were not as bad as some of his critics opined - certainly not disastrous. It was a bad game because of the ints and the loss to which they contributed. But many players have thrown 2 or more ints in a game without many in their fan base acting as though they committed a capital crime. In this game, Jalen also did good things that were ignored and IMO, it was not time to throw him under the bus. This view has been more than validated.

the south fl game still irks me. people use it as the measuring stick for so called team milroe. buchner was in fact terrible, no doubt. however, simpson did not get a fair shake, the team made sure of that. simpson was getting hit way more quickly than he should have been. plus, its the first time i can recall a play where the rb literally stepped out of the way of a rusher to let the qb get hit.

but then i know team chemistry is yuge in sports. the team decided they were going to ride or die with milroe, it worked out. Roll Tide
