This year is a placeholder. Nice batch of recruits on the way.
I thought the team showed a lot of grit today. Could have folded the tents, but they kept fighting. Sign of a good coach right there.

I’m not a moral victory guy but they put on a respectable performance tonight. The program is headed in the right direction under Dennis Gates

Vanover played well yesterday. Only missed two shots, both 3 pointers. If you want to say he shouldn’t take 3s maybe that’s valid, but he should absolutely play

I wouldn’t go that far. He is too slow on defense. They exploited him.

I just can’t believe how someone 7’5” gets out rebounded as much as that guy. Take two hands and grab the damn ball.

I trust Gates so if Vanover is all he has for the minutes he’s getting I understand…but, he is not physical at all and the 3’s are annoying. We should be able to pound the ball inside to a 7’ 5” dude. Can’t wait for this next class to come.
