It's funny that I have not seen any Bama fan say that the SEC crew screwed up the call.

Almost as if it was working the way it should have.

Because it was a catch. The only reason anybody is talking about it is because Gary Danielson implied that it might not have been a catch. He does stuff like that all the time. Nobody else outside of the fans are even talking about it.

Because it is. The replay officials took at look at the catch, deemed it a catch, and moved on. That is the way it has always worked.

I was watching with my wife's family (all Bama fans) and when the play happened, they were all hating life because they thought it would be overturned...then they snapped the ball and everyone was happy again.

We all got together and decided to keep this one quiet. And I’ll probably take some heat for leaking this, but you’re right. Right after the “catch”, a slight nod from our penalty decider on the sideline was given to the ref. The ref knew to let that one go.

Well oiled machine.
