Every year, basketball teams get screwed. Certain conferences are deemed to be better conferences; certain wins are deemed to be better wins.

Is there ever a debate over who the eventual champion is? Not in my lifetime. It's won on the court and not in a brokered deal from a committee.

Yep. Considering the number of times USC, Bama, Notre Dame and alike have gotten favored over the years. It's time for this system to go. Can't wait to see it gone.

And what happens when those teams are still there at the end of the playoffs? Because they may just be better than the others. You gonna scream "not fair" then?

This is just dumb. Of course people debate over who the eventual champion will be. Most get it wrong. That is the whole point of the hundreds of thousands of March Madness brackets filled out every year. I feel a debate with you is pointless.

You do realize that this is all Auburn’s fault right? Auburn could have squashed this on the field. If only they had stopped Alabama on 4th and 31. They didn’t. And here we are. Because of that, not some back room deal.

And there will always be favoritism based on past performance.

People with higher credit scores get better interest rates. Students with higher GPAs and higher ACT/SAT scores get into better schools and get more grants/scholarships. Baseball players with higher batting averages and home run totals get paid more money. Wide receivers and running backs with more yards and touchdowns get paid more money. People without criminal backgrounds have an easier time getting jobs than those with a rap sheet of past felonies. Football programs that have proven they can win at the highest level get the benefit of the doubt over those that haven’t.

Like it or not, people make decisions every day based on past performance. You not liking that will not change it.

24 years?

And the football championship won't be won on the field by pne of those four teams? Don't be a fricking idiot idiot. 4 teams or 64 teams...they're all chosen by a brokered deal by a committee.

How the frick do you think those teams get in? Why the hell does 10-10 Penn State get in, 8th best in their conference, but not 11-7 Vandy, 6th best in theirs?

Because of a fricking committee that you claim doesn't exist.

Yep.

That statement alone proves that you're either intellectually dishonest or hopelessly stupid.
