I take your frick Louisiana with a frick the state of Alabama.

With that said, 2022 per capita income measures.

LINK

1 economic measure, there may be others but if we are going to go economics and statistics, we have some verifiable data to go by.

With that said

1) Bama's football team deserves to be in the CFP
2) you feelings about us in Louisiana is 100% ok, no problem with it. I respect your honesty in saying it. I 100% do. I feel the same away about "most" not all people from Alabama, you can add your "God Bless Robert E Lee" folks, i.e. my great-great grand daddy served in A.P. Hill' Corp for General Lee's Army of Northern Virginia MS brethren as well.

Yes that is when my family immigrated here came to New Orleans to avoiding your Know-nothing ancestors.

100% correct and my post wasn't directed at you but since you posted me, let me guess, your ancestors served with the 15th Alabama in the Army of Northern Virginia. Did I get that correct?

Frank Thomas: Let me assure you it is not a melt. Nothing melting about me. Everything I have posted is 100% dead on.

When people here say LSU hired a yankee in Brian Kelly, I see an American guy raised in Boston in an Irish-Catholic close nit community. I think fits in 100% in South Louisiana. Much so than the Right Reverend Dabo Sweeney or Right Reverend Hugh Freeze types who I admit fit in very well in the areas where there schools are located.

If you Bama fans could have kept it in football, I agree 100% Bama should be in the CFP. I said it before the CFP, the morning before the announcement. But the 8 10 threads, all started by you people, had to have tons of post bashing Louisiana, its history, culture, people, etc, etc, etc which is all too common with many of your folks.

So not a rant at all. So let me repeat, the Alabama football team went 12-1 and has the best CFP resume. I said that before the Title game that if they beat UGA, they will have a 4-1 record vs. the CFP in this case top 21.

That does not change my general disdain for everything in the state of Alabama, you can add our neighbors to MS as well. And most people in those 2 states probably feel the same way about us down here in South LA, 100% ok with me.

MetryTyger:

I take it a found someone who attended the Catholic league schools, Holy Cross, Jesuit, Brother Martin, etc?

If these Bama posters would have kept it football only, I am in 100% agreement. They started all the melt threads, every damn one of them had bash Louisiana posts over, over, over, over again. History, culture, its peoples. If your from New Orleans then you know the peoples that founded New Orleans, the immigrants that came there are more similar to the same immigrant groups that went to Boston, Philadelphia, Chicago, NYC, and other cities across the Midwest.

So yes, deep down this bashing of Louisiana represents something much deeper with all those people. If they bash then I bash back.

They have enough football angles to get LSU fans to melt without the constant attacks on our State. And on the football metrics, they have the evidence on their side. My general dislike for them doesn't cause me to be lose my objectivity regarding matters of football.

What am I melting about, Alabama won the game. Done over with.

I have said in every post in this thread Alabama's football team should be in the CFP.

Not a melt, you keep doing this I guess to keep the thread going.

MetryTyger I think understands where I am coming from. Trust me, it is 100% real. And there are many folks in the areas between New Orleans and Baton Rouge who feel the same way. Now, you get up to areas North of Alexandria LA, you will find folks more similar in family history, ideology, culture and religion, etc as you people over in Alabama, MS, etc.

And again, I said over and over again, Bama's football team should be in the CFP. I said that before the CFP final four was announced. So let me repeat, 12-1 SEC Champ Alabama football team with 4 wins in CFP top 21 earned there way in.

So you tell me if that is what the melt is about how is it melting.

If you only knew

New Orleans, a place where you meet someone new and they ask where you went to school they are asking about high school. Also has one of the, if not the worst public school systems in the developed world.

And? I mean, it explains some of the different accents. You could make as compelling of an argument that New Orleans is a Caribbean city.

New Orleans has a unique history but let’s be honest, it’s a dying city.

And none of this has a thing to do with the LSU melt

I appreciate you trying to change the topic but distract from the LSU melt but let’s stay on topic.

I know all this, I’m from here, but your weird need to explain this to everyone is in itself a melt
