If the 12 Team Playoff were starting this year, this would be the brackets.

Peach Bowl: Winner of Ole Miss/Georgia vs No. 3 Texas

Rose Bowl: Winner of Penn State/Ohio State vs No. 2 Washington

Sugar Bowl: Winner of Missouri/Oregon vs No. 1 Michigan

That would obviously be a pretty favorable path for us. Would have been a great year for the 12-team.

So Liberty would have been our 2nd round opponent.

I still don't like 12. 8 max. I don't think any 3 loss team should get a shot at the NC... and that's going to happen.

I actually think FSU would’ve ended up seeded about 8th or 9th if they’d had a 12-team bracket.

So at least two rematches, and maybe more.

They would never put rematches in these games. Just like they don't with ncaa basketball tournament
