I cautioned folks over and over about this BS. It wouldn’t be near as bad had this exact same scenario had not played out numerous times over the years but my goodness. How many times does it take?

Honestly, some people talk that shite but in the back of their mind they’re hoping that maybe just maybe they got em this time.

And yesterday, all the pundits were saying Kirby had become the better coach.

I feel like the current state of football with it being a semi-pro league with transfers and the other changes make it harder for any single team to dominate like it was 10 years ago. Saban is the best ever and may never be matched. I’m glad to have Kirby. If I were building a team in 2023 there is no coach I’d rather have. UGA didn’t have the talent to compete with Bama until 2021, so I would have been shocked if UGA won a game before then and the pre 2021 are a bit different than any losses since the UGA machine got going. The thing I like about Saban and Kirby is they are the only coaches that have created a “wait your turn” culture where they have proven if you don’t jump for more money elsewhere you’ll likely be a major contributor and early round pick at Bama or UGA.
