Michigan / Washington / Texas / Alabama will be the playoff bracket

Florida State, by most metrics, is not even a top 5 team. Their best win is Alabama's 3rd best win. Alabama played a significantly tougher schedule. They are not top one of the 4 best teams with their backup quarterbacks. They weren't even really a top 4 team with Travis but you could kinda smudge the numbers because elite QB play is so important in the playoffs. Without him, you're putting a lot of value in going undefeated against a soft schedule and winning the weakest power 5 conference in 2023.

I’m watching this ESPN panel discussion on the CFP. One guy said FSU shouldn’t get in because they are clearly nowhere near the same team without Travis.
RGIII is so fricking dumb - says to the guy “If the chiefs go 14-3, lock up the bye in the AFC, and Mahomes gets hurt in the last game, do they take away their top seed?” Guy tries to tell RGIII that’s entirely record based because of the small pool of shared opponents, no committee involvement, and RGIII just shouts over him. What a fricking moron.
