I'm not going to make excuses. We lost the game because we didn't make the field goal that hit the goal post and we fumbled which resulted in Bama getting a field goal and we didn't make a touchdown after the 51 yard pass late in the game.
That's football and I'm still proud of our team even though they lost.

Agree and with you but i still want a game called fairly. I still cannot reconcile why they didn't review the catch and then reviewed our 51 yard completion. That doesn't make sense.

There is nothing to reconcile. It is unexplainable.
Several people’s only job, outside of the stadium is to review all the plays. They had 20 yards to review a couple angles to know it needed more time for review.
I am not into conspiracy but nothing explains why they didn’t.

Watching it on the CBS Sports replay. That 4th down “catch” was a 7 pt call. They don’t convert and we at worst go 3 and out and punt it back to them deep with no time till half.
Also, the reverse was open…just bad luck…but a good play call. At least that only led to 3.
Those 2 plays are 10 points.
The defense actually played really well other than not getting a stop at the very end. We just couldn’t keep them off the field.

First failed drive in the 4th was a clear defensive holding against Bell. DB grabbed him up under the pads like we were run blocking. Kept him from running his route and almost led to a pick.
ETA: Bond ate our arse up in their 4th Qtr drive with 10 min left in the fourth. We had just scored and that drive killed our momentum.
