It’s a tough argument - and I just don’t see how they would put Bama in over an undefeated FSU - but at same token will almost make committee publicly admit - conf supremacy or whatever you want to call it if they did put Bama in. On surface (meaning not really looking at the deep analysis) - how do they approach it? Do they say well it’s the SEC - and bama if they beat uga would have beaten a team that hasn’t lost in how ever long. Or do they go with SEC fatigue?
One thing it does is validate their move to 12 team playoff. Sure there will be same arguments between the 12th and 13th team on who should be in- but no one really will be up in arms on whether a 2 or 3 loss P5 should be in over an undefeated James Madison
shite will be political - would be interesting to hear all the discussions and politicking going on behind the scenes if bama does win
