This committee sucks. There's no rhyme or reason to their rankings. You can point to their process all you want, but they don't even follow it.

Didn’t Ohio State win on the road against Notre Dame?

We'll both pass them up with wins on Saturday.

But is ND really a good win? Come on...

And Penn State.

It's a better win than Middle Tenn State, Chattanooga, a squeaker over USF, and losing to Texas.

That was a home game, but still a quality win.

Probably the worst #10 ranked team I've ever seen. Did you see them against Michigan?! Ew, David.

More in-depth than that...the o$u walNUTS only scored 23 points on lowly Indiana and 24 points on pedestrian Wisconsin! They got this shister AD named Gene Smith, too..he's a POS and he calls up the NCAA and blows them periodically, for real.

You forgot LSU (with a future Heisman winner QB), Ole Miss... Both better than ND and Penn State.

LSU has no defense, 3 loss team
ND has no offense, 3 loss team
Ole Miss and Penn State both 2 loss teams that lost to the best teams on their schedules.
To say they're both better could be debatable at the very least. Seems like they're a wash from a pure W-L perspective.

OSU & Texas are debateable...bama lost it's chance to be in the debate with a 10 pt loss at home.

I could agree with that... I'd say Texas, Alabama, then Ohio State. At least two of those are still in their conference championship races.

So is Iowa.

Iowa scored 0 against Penn State. They should get boat raced by Michigan.
Also, two losses.
Also, two losses.

Now, now, no need to drag LSU into this.

I agree that they'll get boat raced, but technically they are "in the mix for a conference championship" since they're playing for it.
That suggests that being in the mix for a conference championship isn't infallible as a qualifier for being ranked higher than another.
If the B1G was like the Big 12 and had no divisions, Ohio State would be facing Michigan in a rematch this weekend.
