What was Milroe thinking on third down??

Tons of space in front of him, an olineman over to block for him, and he ran 2 yards past the line and threw it. How do you not run the ball there?? We were probably looking at a 4th and goal from inside the 10 at most if he just pulls it down.

Once again, I’m thrilled with the way it ended, but that’s not a mistake you can afford to make again.

Maybe he just needed the extra room to throw.

Still airing out the occasional brain fart I guess

I assume we were thinking that 2 throws to the endzone were better than one. But he went back over the LOS so there is a chance he didn’t know the rule

I wonder how far he would have gotten.
Watching the replay, there are no Auburn players within 10 yards of him ,plus our # 52 guard was 8 yards downfield that could help with blocking. I'd imagine Milroe could have at least made it to the 10 yard line.

He did that during another drive we kicked a short FG on.

Had he ran he might have scored, but he would have for sure gotten a first down.

Lucky he wasn't concussed from 3rd and 29.9 yard run.

With his speed and quickness, he has a chance to score on that play.

I can only think he thought it was 4th down somehow…or he just panicked.

Tua also made a head-scratching play just before 2 and 26 by taking the sack. These things happen and make the big one that much sweeter.

I'm just glad that Saban didn't try to overthink the situation, and go with a FG-onside kick-fg ending.
