Did the way you lost to Alabama this year cause more emotion than the way you beat Alabama in 2013?

Hell no. I was a bit miffed in the moment, but I honestly don’t care hardly at all at this point. I thought we were goin to lose 45-3. The fact that we played so well and battled (and should have won) was more than enough to make me happy.

We were never supposed to win that game, and it’s 110% about recruiting right now. That’s going well, so I’m good.

Poor bama struggling with a bad Auburn team.

The question is: Do you love winning more than you hate losing?

As a player or coach, you should hate losing more. As a fan, you should enjoy winning more.

I'm guessing it was the same. Only different.

Wisdom right here.

It's just, giving up a TD on 4th and fricking 31 with half a minute left to go...I mean, I can't think of a worse way to go out. But kudos to Auburn for fighting. I thought they were going to get blown out, and I'm glad they proved me wrong.

No one is going to say it hurt more because even if it did, no Auburn fan would want to give the Alabama fans that satisfaction. All you are going to get is "it was no big deal, I'm over it, etc"

I came back to work today and there is an Auburn fan I work with who was sad and mopey all day. I finally asked him, "you ok, man?"
He replied, "hell no. If we weren't in a hospital right now I'd dog cuss you for being a Bammer."

I was in Afghanistan during the Kick 6 and I was lucky enough to get to watch it (Thank you Armed Forces Network) and I was absolutely thrilled - lots of celebrating but not emotional really. This years loss sucked and was also pretty unbelievable but was over it in about 5 minutes - life goes on.

And then you gave him an extra helping of mashed potatoes on his plate because you felt bad for him, right? Cafeteria food=comfort food.

After the prior weekend, I thought we'd lose by at least 28. After the first series, I was pretty sure we would lose by 42 or more. Anything was an upgrade after that.

Actually, I'm a physician and Alabama grad and he is a technologist and not an Auburn grad. But he is a good dude and I would never think to look down on him for that. I also don't look down on food servers. Only douchebags do.

Dumb. Sometimes you're the windshield, sometimes you're the bug.

It's why the Iron Bowl is must-see TV.

FWIW, I was completely over this by 1:00 Sunday when Birds/Aints kicked off.

Nah.
Winning this would give us 7 wins. Kick 6 put us in the SEC Championship and then NC a year after one of our worst seasons in modern history.
