Do you give the Heisman to the best player on one of the best teams or do you give it to the best player in college football?
If you're honest with yourself you already know the answer. JD5 is the best player in college football this year. He shouldnt be penalized for LSUs defense being absolute shite this year. Timmy Tebow won it with 3 losses against a less impressive schedule with less impressive numbers.
Congrats to Jayden for winning it.

Historically yes. Do I agree with that line of thinking? No

Congrats to Jayden for winning it.
Jayden probably deserves it the most but that awful defense also allowed him to pad his stats.
Tebow also went 9-3 (he got the Heisman before the bowl game loss) but he also had more total TDs than Jayden and was a true sophomore. And if I recall Dennis Dixon was the Heisman favorite until he hurt his knee.
