Tbh everyone looked like they were looking forward to next week and forgot they had a game to play this week. We rarely got any pressure or penetration in the backfield.

The game plan looked like our d coordinator hadn't watched any au film. Players were not in position and we never made any adjustments.

Honestly, I think Freeze just knows how to exploit it.

It's like they played in slow motion about all game. Trying to prevent injuries or something.
Best pressure they had was right at the end of the game

Alabama had to do one thing to blow out Auburn today and that was shutdown the inside run game.

We’d done it against every other team YTD.

But we didn’t hold on the LOS consistently at any point in time today and it should’ve cost us the game and will absolutely cost us the game against UGA if we don’t get it fixed.

The LB gap discipline at first watch looked as bad as I’ve ever seen it under Saban, but I’ll have to do a rewatch to see what was AU dominating the interior LOS and what was horrific play from Campbell.

Agree with this. Jihad is probably our most athletic linebacker, but he struggles when they run at him. He’ll get better, but he struggled tonight. I have a feeling that no one on defense was happy with their performance tonight though. Ugly win, but I’ll take an ugly win over a pretty loss any day
