I was cautiously optimistic in the preseason. Now I have no doubt about that offense with him at QB. He’s playing with so much confidence that I’m not sure any team is gonna stop him. He’s a legit starter quality QB in the NFL and only time will prove that.

I agree with all of these Beck superlatives but there is still room for Carson to grow. The deep ball remains a deficiency in absolute terms and relative to Milroe.
Although the deep ball score wows people, I prefer the way Beck takes us down the field with safe intermediate throws. Scoring too quickly doesn't give our defense time to rest.
