The NCAA put Oklahoma State on probation that goes back to 1979 when Johnson was the coach. They also put Oklahoma on severe probation in 1989, a year Switzer left Oklahoma.

Ken Hatfield was a much safer hire and not near as shady as the other two.

Arkansas should have fired Nutt after 2005 and hired Butch Davis. But all that talent on 2006 and 2007 was wasted.

Arkansas could easily hire a Jeff Traylor type and improve the results of the program.

Pittman is an atrocious in-game coach and will be a lame duck next year.

This is exactly my point. There’s always shady stuff going on, pretty much every where. Arkansas worries about off field stuff and misses good coaches. Remember when Norvell couldn’t be a candidate because he had skeletons in his closet?

Petrino was a known a-hole, got hired and performed on the field.
