Tailgating at GT? Any knowledge is appreciated.

I have been to at least 10 UGA/GT games at Bobby Dodd but have never tailgated. I am doing a client/son (4 dads/4 sons) thing this time and will look to tailgate since it’s a night game. Anybody know where a good lot is that you can drive in and pay onsite? Just looking for a spot to do a 10x10 tent sized tailgate. I’ll probably get down there around 2:30 but could go earlier if needed.

The varsity is the main dawg spot. No idea if 230 is too late

No doubt about it..... The Greasy V ( Varsity ) is UGA tailgaiting Headquarters......
I'm planning on being there around 1 or so.....Parking is pretty steep inside the Varsity and adjacent to it...So I pre-ordered a parking space in a local lot and I'm just going to walk a couple of blocks over so We can tailgate with our friends.

Sounds good. I did some research and it looks like the Varsity charges $50 for game day. I’ll probably just get down there around 10:00am , fire up the tailgate musis box and drink and eat chili dogs and onion rings all day.

My daughter picked up on this thought it would be boring but it’s actually pretty fun. We aren’t in Georgia but there’s a ton of them around our town especially around southern miss campus.
