Kinda seems like it's the other way around in this exchange.
Some people of faith don't like to look in the mirror while hurling accusations. The reflection has knives.
When it comes to discussing Richt, his successes, failures, and overall legacy, it's impossible to not discuss the religious aspect, simply because that's who he was, and I wish that this would be acknowledged to make it open for criticism. He allowed it to permeate into every facet of his life, openly. To some of the faith, this is high virtue. To some, it's a non-issue. To others still (me, admittedly) it's a flaw. People of faith oftentime, without even realizing it, cloak themselves in their virtue (not unlike virtue signalers that are without the faith) to excuse or mask their flaws.
Dabo is doing it, openly, right now, and it's going to become more and more pronounced. Critise Dabo? Muh faith! I do things "the right way". NIL? We have NIL: name, image, likeness of Jesus. Etc...

Finish the drill was my shite back in the early Richt years. Had a shirt with that motto on. Throw the live strong bracelet on and you couldn't tell me shite.

All I know is when that crowd was rocking on Sat I dont think I saw one false start penalty against Georgia. Compare that to all the False starts other teams have when them come to Athens.

It's a great time to be a bulldog fan. I was 5 in '80 when we won the NC, and I promise you, I never thought the Bulldogs would lose again. Then Goff.
I'm going to appreciate Kirby's dedication forever. His attention to the smallest details is immaculate.
