They were very competitive against Vandy.

That may or may not be a slight on Vandy.

At first glance they appear to be yet another solid lower conference team that Arkansas has scheduled early this season. They probably won't make the NCAAT, but they might get a shot at it. They'll play pretty well and if you have an off night they'll make you regret it.

And I'm fine with playing a team that can make you regret overlooking them. Play decent teams now, be ready to play in the SEC come conference time.

Other than Purdue, it will be the smallest point spread against an opponent.

Gamethread stats have been updated.

- This will be the third meeting between Arkansas and UNC Greensboro and the second in as many years. The Razorbacks won the previous two meetings — 89-74 (12/1/01) and 65-58 last season (12/6/22).

- The first meeting, which would be Nolan Richardson’s 500th career win, was highlighted by Jannero Pargo’s 19 points and 18 points from J.J. Sullinger. Both teams took 59 shots with Arkansas making 30 and UNCG making 20. The Spartans kept it close though by making 13 3-pointers compared to six by the Hogs.

- Last year, then #9 Arkansas rallied from a five-point halftime deficit (25-20) to win 65-58. The game was marred when Trevon Brazile went down midway through the first half with a season-ending knee injury. The Razorback second-half rally was led by Nick Smith Jr., who scored 16 of his 22 points in the second half. Also aiding in the win were double-doubles from Makhi Mitchell (13 pts & 14 rebs) and Davonte Davis (10 & 10).

-Eric Musselman is two wins from 100 as Arkansas head coach.

Are the rules comprehensive or may we expect some additions as the season wears on?

It's about time you introduced some solid rules we can all get behind. But you're still a jinx with at least 3 alters and I downvoted you just for posterity
