Remember the song "If your gonna play in Texas, you gotta have a fiddle in the band"?
Jeff Traylor has the blessing of the Texas High School Coaches Association. "If your gonna recruit in Texas, you gotta have the blessing of the THSCA." Saban does, Jimbo didn't. In fact Jimbo went out of his way to ignore them.
Not smart.
Traylor is a long shot but Texas High School Coaches have given their blessing.

Who cares about the blessing of the HS coaches when you just buy your recruits outright?
Doesn't seem like jumbo had any recruiting issues whether he had their blessing or not.

Was that Jimbo’s problem? Didn’t/couldn’t recruit Texas enough? I don’t feel like that’s his problem.
